Alliance of Artists Communities “Accessibility in the Residency Field” Survey

The Alliance of Artists Communities (AAC) is conducting a study on the current state of access in the residency field. Looking beyond standard definitions of compliance, this field-scan takes an important step identifying specific barriers faced by artists with disabilities in residency contexts and approaches to address them. Data will be used in aggregate to map indicators of accessibility across the field, as well as document and share new inclusive strategies to better support artists with disabilities.

The AAC invites members and non-members to complete the survey by Feb. 10 at 5pm EST. The responses will contribute to a new report and toolkit, funded with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
