Presented by Anyka Barber, program officer, Founder/Owner, Betti Ono Gallery; Ashara Ekundayo, CEO & vurator, AECreative and Ashara Ekundayo Gallery; and Anna Schniederman, executive director, The Flight Deck & Ragged Wing Ensemble.

Anyka Barber and Alexa Hall will host a workshop for GIA attendees about the current relationship artists have to the infrastructure and resource landscape in Oakland. In this session, we will cover themes of artist-run collective models, housing/studio displacement, and economic growth opportunities. Representatives from local galleries, artist collectives, and cultural hubs will be present to provide commentary during the workshop and for open discussion.
