Focused on the arts of communities of color and indigenous peoples, this symposium was designed to encourage multicultural arts leadership in the West. Emerging leaders and youth participated in dialogues about developing strategies to involve the next generation of leaders, inclusion and economics, and the relationship of land to cultural identity. The publication also includes a transcript of keynote speaker James Early's address, " Citizen-Artist: Imagining the Future Possible."
