Key findings include: 308 grants of $5 million or more, international grants rose 41 percent, corporate funding gave a larger share of their grant dollars than other types of grantmakers, and the percentage of grant dollars to fund building construction and capital projects rose to 18.5 percent from 16.8 percent in 2004.
