Support for Individual Artists Case Statement: Now Available on the GIA Website

Our commitment to supporting individual artists is a testament to our understanding of the importance of artists in our world. We support artists to allow them time to reveal the truths of our existence. We support artists to promote diverse, creative communities engaged in civil dialogue and public service. We support artists to ensure the freedom of their expression and the preservation of our own.

So begins the case statement for the direct support of individual artists issued by the steering committee of GIA's Support for Individual Artists Group. The statement, titled Supporting Individual Artists—Preserving the Core of Humanity is now available on the Support for Individual Artists page of the GIA website. Feedback from the GIA community is welcome and all GIA members interested in individual artist support are encouraged to join the Support for Individual Artists member interest group, which you can do by logging on to the member side of the website.
