NEFA Accepting Applications to National Theater Pilot

(8-10-10) New England Foundation for the Arts has announced the National Theater Pilot. Applications became available on August 6 and the deadline for submitting the application is Wednesday, September 1:

With leadership support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, NEFA’s National Theater Pilot is designed to promote the development of contemporary collaborative theater works and the reach of these works through touring. Modeled on NEFA’s National Dance Project, the program will provide grants for approximately 12 projects over two years while animating an informed, interactive network of producing theaters, presenters, and ensembles that will support the promotion of the projects throughout their development and tour planning.
