Exploring the Role of Power in Culture

As part of a series of public talks, The New York Review of Books and David Zwirner Books held in September a discussion about the role of power within the cultural sphere.
Besides highlighted comments of that day, the article includes a video about the role of the critic as related to power in culture. In one moment, from minute 9:10 to 14:53, the discussion centers on the role of a critic in properly critiquing, bringing attention to underrepresented artists, and how to navigate that space as a POC or LGBTQ critic.
