Published as a feature article in the March 2007 issue of Dance/USA, "Bringing It Home" details the final round of awards in the National College Choreography Initiative (NCCI). Dance/USA, and the National Endowment for the Arts first initiated NCCI in 2001 to support the connection between universities and professional dancers by funding colleges to bring professional guest choreographers to educational institutions in order to restage existing dances or create
new dances with students.
